wana race my lowrider???

sounds like my fuel pump is having a hard time pumping fuel because the car is stuttering alot and the pumps sounds really loud in the back even while im driving i can still hear it. im planning to drop the fuel tank and check it out. wondering if there were any other suggetions you guys recomend me checking out. could it be a bad fuel filter or could my injectors be bad. i do have a direct scan so if you need any more info let me know. thanks
