Made 6 runs 3 good 2 awful 1 soso

Here are the 3 good runs
60 ft 1.46
MPH 100.58
ET 6.78

60ft 1.48
MPH 101.10
ET 6.78

60ft 1.50 spun a little
MPH 102.08
ET 6.74

This was at 3600lbs through 2 1/2 full SS exhaust with borla mufflers and stock Throttle body.
Not bad for a car that has not run in 15 years.

Yea that's why I was curious. I don't know a ton on how to read 1/8th mile, only run 1/4 before....we have real tracks on the east coast ;)

I used to race the Cuda 1/4 mile. Basic rule of thumb is take the 1/8 mile ET and divide it in half and then add it back to the 1/8 mile et.

So if you run a 8 second 1/8 mile you have a 12 second car ish.

60 foot plays a big part in this equation but this car is hooking at a 1.5 60 foot.

Very consistent. Nice short times. I'm guessing that you have a trans brake. 6.78 in the eighth should equate to about a 10.60 in the 1320. Congrats.

My car runs identical numbers, even 60ft in the 1/8th, and I run 10.60-10.70s in the quarter. I don't have a trans brake, so it's very possible for him to 60ft like that just off of foot brake.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
This car should have 6.60s maybe 50's in cold weather and a little better driving first time I have been down a track in 15 years that was the main problem my driving.

What are you using for engine management?

what boost level for that time slip? I would guess 23-25 psi range?

We have very similar builds...I have not run my car past 18-19 but it can muster a 11.50 at that level so if your mid 20's that gives me an idea.....

Yes it was 23-24 on all those runs. Were you running 7.30 in the 1/8 on those 11.50 runs?

yeah low 7's I would have to pul1 my time slips to be sure but I do know they were 100 mph passes in the 1/8

I think 100 mph with say a 1.50 sixty times will get you in the 6's in 1/8 and 10's in the quarter. Divide your 1/8 time by .64 .

I recently replaced my converter with a PTC I was at the track earlier this year making some low boost pump gas runs.....on a soft launch 6psi it pulled a 1.68 60' and 11.80 out the back door on 17psi....

I tried to leave harder at 10psi but the track would not hold......if i could leave at 10psi I think a 1.5ish 60' is possible....I have not had the car at 20psi or higher yet but I am sure it will break into the 10's at the 23psi range based on what it does now.

Hey man its tim it ran very well with more to go. Beautiful car also. Come see me.
