I have been fighting this buick since I have owned it. All under the veil of an education! I finally think I am getting somewhere.
Even though I have yet to ride in a TR that runs well, for comparison basis. I think when you know you know. My most recent issue involved not being able to get the car to pull beyond 5000 rpm. I Finally resolved all of the ignition system issues and the car zings to 6200 rpm and is traction limited. Finally I have the experience so many have talked about, 35 - 40 MPH WOT and the car breaks lose 15lbs. No chasis dyno time, next on the list and things can only get better, i'd have to say at least 5 more lbs on pump and then to alternative enrichment methods.
Anyway we spend enough time griping so I thought I would share a small victory. Thanks to all for your help!!!!
