Fan Delay Relay ?

Last night after the GN had been sitting for about 3 hours the car alarm went off. As I approached it I could hear the fan running. Tapped all of the driver side relays, no change. Disconnected the fan delay relay and it shut off. Defective relay?

Yes just leave it off, don't bother with a new one, unless you like loading your gun a lot at 3am.

Very hard on the car battery as well!

Thanks SalvageV6- What is the purpose of the fan delay relay? Cool off engine after shutdown? If left disconnected is there any problem?

It's supposed to come on if the car gets above 226 degrees and stay on for about 5-10 minutes after the car is off. You really don't need it unless you're planning on running the car a little hot.
