Early WOT 2-3 shifts

Here is my issue. The 2-3 WOT shifts are at 5800 while my 1-2 shifts are at 6200. Can I increase only my 2-3 shifts to be at about 6200? I've ground the governor's small end corners down to achieve the 1-2 shifts but noticed that my 2-3 shifts are lower. Is there a spring in the VB I can shim in order to get 2-3 rpm shifts increased about 300 rpm?
Or could my 1-2 shift be too late for some other reason?

I have done this. In the 2-3 shift valve stack up there is a spring. Try a .030 shim. A pain to do as you may have to drop VB more than once and I had to grind a washer down to fit over the spool.

But if you put the roll pin so you can get it out without droppin the VB it would be not too bad of a job. I think you should be able to make a tab & attach it too one of the VB bolts to hold the pin in place.

Thanks guys. Is this a common problem with a 200r4?
Sounds like my 1-2 is ok I just need to increase my 2-3 like you guys said.
I'll tear it down and give it a try.
How much should I go to get about 300 rpm increase out of it. 30 thousand shim?
