Any helpful hints? Looks limited access. Is it removed from top or bottom? Need to raise engine? Thanks.

Jack the car up enough to get the DS front wheel off and put blocks under DS.What you can't get from the top go through the wheelwell opening between the frame and the inner fender. You might have to go under the car with long extentions to disconnect the header from the crossover.Pull header out from top.Good Luck !

Actually you'll probably want to get the header disconnected from the crossover before you disconnect it from the head.if you disconnect it from the head first it will move all over the place when you try to disconnect it from the crossover.;)

While your at it change the drivers side motor mount and your sparkplugs. Lots of room there with the ds header out. you might as well change the crossover pipe too.

I agree with the others.

One hint, you may or may not want to try, is to drill a 1/2" hole aligned with the back bolt for the header in the inner plastic fenderwell.

Makes it real easy to use a 3/8" size long 24" extension on the back bolt and put a socket on it.

It didn't bother salvageV6 much. ;)

The GN was done on a lift by my mechanic, hence no hole, only scraped knuckles on his part. :D

Good luck.
