DS Cable shielding

I started having problems with my ecm resetting only with the ds cable hooked up. Kent sent me a shorter (2ft) cable with the shielding. I ran the cable on the backside of the ecm and used a 1 inch wide by 4 inch long piece of metal strap to ensure a good continuous contact patch to the ecm. Two strands of mechanic's wire to hold the strap/cable to the ecm and went to test it out. Ran perfect, no more ecm problems with the ds.
