Drivers outside mirror housing is loose, how to fix?

Can this be fixed? It looks like I'd have to remove the door panel and take the mirror off the car to access the bolt to tighten it. That sound right ?

I've had to change mirrors out before and that's usually all you're got to do to tighten up the nuts that hold the mirror on.

Cool. It's not loose were the base meets the car. The head of it, round part with the glass is whats loose. Didn't want to mess with the door panel if it wouldn't work. Thanks.

The mirror head has 2 bolts which attach it to the pedestal base.
You will have to remove the mirror from the door to access these.
A little loctite will help to keep things together.
