Drag Radial tire pressure

I just bought a set of the M/T 275 50 15 drag radials and wanted to know a good starting point for tire pressure at the track. I would guess around 15 psi but I'm not sure.
Thank you for the input in advance.

with a 7" rim I would never go lower than 18 psi or they would cup in the middle, lifting the highest traction part of the tread off the track.

If you are using an 8 In rim, try 15 psi, but don't go crazy with low pressures. I've cut a 1.65 60ft with 24 psi in the tires. It's more about keeping them clean and properly planting them when you launch than it is about tire pressure.

the Mickey's seem to like some air....on my car, 28 lbs works good enough for 1.51 60' (275X60)...another local car uses around 20 lbs and cuts 1.5x 60's also(275X50)
