Can anyone give me an idea of the burnout procedure for DR's at the track. I've acquired a used set of 275/60/15's and need to know how to prep them correctly for launch.

Thanks:cool:

Turn them over in the water once slowly to get them wet, so they will spin easier. Pull to the edge of the damp and spin until you see a little smoke. Conserve the brakes as much as possible during the burnout, because without a line lock, if you use up you brakes durring the burn out, you won't have any for the launch.

Stage up and launch. After the run avoid dirt, gravel, crushed rock and grass like the plague. Bring a brush along to clean the rocks and rubber balls from the tread. Cleanliness is the key to making them work. Slip the broom guy a couple bucks to broom off the area between the box and the line. This is where races are won and lost with DR's.
