M MeanBuicks Scaring the neighbors! Joined May 24, 2001 Nov 28, 2001 #2 The valve bodies are 98% alike (don't worry about the 2% ), the governors are the same as is the rest of the transmission, with one exception. The 84/85 BQ intermediate servo is smaller than the 86/87 BRF. That's easy to swap.
