cruise control

my cruise control pulsats it goes off and on no more than a second off and then on for about five seconds it does not lose speed.
but the jerking off and on drives me crazy,i checked the vac hoses for the cruise control they are all right.

What is the MPH you cruise at?
Are you running a LU converter?
What chip are you running?

sorry i did not get back any sooner.
it does not matter any speed it pulsates.
i am using a red armstrong performance chip.

If is does it at "any speed" . . . . are you sure its the cruise control?
Could be a transmission lock-up feature.
Ok, do this . . . . Unhook the cruise control cable (At the actuator) and go take the car out . . . Report back.
