Well if it as clean as it looks, I can see at least $1100 worth of parts on it. I picked up an '84 texas car in similar condition this spring for $600; I'm almost too scared to cut it up for parts! If it was mine I'd throw some fillers on it, shoot it, and cruise it!

The car is a one owner. It has been covered most of its life but needs paint real bad. The car has no rot that I can see and I'm sure it has never been driven in the snow or salt. The undercarriage has the normal surface rust but no rot. The floors are mint underneath. I could not get into the car because the owner was not home but told me to take a look and see what I thought. The car is owned by a older lady that bought the car new in 83. The car has blue interior and looks nearly perfect with the exception of the sun visors and the head rest on the drivers side. It has a bench seat with a column shifter. It has 73k Original miles. It is in desire need of fillers on front and rear and also needs front grill because of the broken pieces.

Thanks for the reply, Rick

Does it run? Any mechanical issues? Clean title? I sold an 83 which had new paint but tired interior for $700 a few years ago. It ran pretty good. You could start off asking a G and then get ready for people to try to beat you up. If you need it gone fast, 500.

Rick I sold one like that, same year and engine, mine was light brown metallic with choco brown interior, had 78k on it, was a 1 owner Florida car when I bought it, I was owner #2, no rust but paint was faded and so were the carpets/seats, I managed to get $2k out of it. But I did get a lot of offers of $1k to $1500. That was back in 2006.

NADA list the price between $1400 and $4650 depending on condition so if you clean it up some then you should be able to make a nice profit out of it rather than part it out.

Thanks to everyone who has replied. I'm thinking of buying the car and was wanting to know what it was worth. I may be able to buy for around 500.00 if so I think I'll get it. Funds are a little low because of the other money pits I have (84 Cutlass w/87 stroker) and (84 Hot Air T Type).

Thanks again to everyone who has replied,

Rick

I would not part that car out.

At least a $1000 if the body is that nice.

I would build that in a sec...
