I was told that if the cam is bad that I should see the vacuum gauge flutter?
I'm not really seeing any flutter idleing or driving. At idle the needle slowly goes back and forth from 16"-17" as the rpms go up and down a little. But I wouldn't call it a flutter.Under what conditions should the vac. gauge flutter if the cam is bad?Idle?Cruise?WOT?

I dont remember about the fluttering, but I do know that usually with a bad cam the vac readings are considerably lower than normal. Those vac #s are pretty darn good. I had a bad cam before on my Ttype. The vac was about 10-12" in park and 8" in drive
