I have a TTA with 10k miles. following mods

50# inj
Razors kit
Turbo Tweak chip
walbro
hotwire
100# springs
adj fuel reg
car was running really good on stock turbo. pulled nice. just installed a
TA-49 and now, just before the car shifts into second gear, it boggs and falls flat on its face. almost like you just cut off the ingition.

once you get out of the gas, it runs fine again.....untill you start to build boost.

any ideas?

good point, forgot about that ground strap on the turbo bracket, i have had that give me a few problems with ignition when no secured enough or at all. check that and the plug gap first.

since i had no clue there was a ground wire....thats a great possibility!!!

umm, where is this wire?

I think I see the ground you guys are talking about. on my TTA its bolted to the front of the head.......

so I dont think thats it

Just an idea but since you are doubling the amount of air into the motor did you add any more fuel, could you be detonating and the ecm is pulling timing out.

scanmaster says zero knock. the car does feel like it is missing however.
