Greeting all,

On the way home tonight that car started acting up , running rough on the highway . Got off my exit it was skipping at idle. o2 real low ~100 and below . Got home the tail pipes where black with soot. I believe the O2 popped out (Bosch). They do not like leaded fuel .

Smelt rich also.

if you have a tt chip and your chips blms were close you can reset the blms (unplug and replug the orange wire by battery) and unplug the o2 sensor and leave it unplugged , go back to driving like normal (even WoT) without overfueling from the bad sensor
a buddy ran his car for a season with no 02 plugged in and that included at the track

if you plan to run leaded at all get the denso O2

A heated o2 holds up a lot better. I used to buy those bosch sensors 2 at a time.Only changed the heated sensor 1 time in about ten years.
