Cam sync and CEL

New Xfi install last monthish. Car started fine then Bogged down put stayed on. After two or three minutes car cut off. Started back up fine. What causes the cam sync light to come on? And how do I fix it.

whe you crank key and it doesnt start and you release key and then recrank key or its stalls and you just recrank the XFI will usually throw the code becuase the it thinks the cam signal should be at a certain place and it wasnt
you need to stop key off let ecu power down (red power led goes out )
if the cam sync came on before recranking then you need to verify what the cam sync is with a laptop engine running , should be around 80-90 , if its not the cam sensor needs to be rotated (loosen bolt at base of sensor) unlit its right
