Buick vs. Mustang @ E-Town on 11/10/02...

Raceway Park will be holding the rescheduled Buick vs. Mustang event on Sunday, 11/10/02. Last year was a lot of fun, and I'm sure this year will be the same. We need as many Buicks to show up as possible or else we'll be outnumbered. Hope to see everyone there...

"Cotton's Performance Center Buick Performance Sunday (rescheduled from September 1) with the Grand Nationals vs Mustang Bracket class, Buick Quick 16 plus Buick Bracket classes."

I'll be there. Hope to run some high 11's with traction. It will be a great time to run the Buick before winter with nice cool temps and (hopefully) traction. And of course beating the Mustangs!! KB

Just got an email from E-Town...

ATTENTION BUICK ENTHUSIASTS:
The BUICK Performance Sunday racing classes that were rained out are scheduled for November 10th.
The drag racing classes are:
Quick 16 - $3,000+ purse
V-8 Bracket - $100 win, $50 Runner-up
V-6 Bracket- $100 win, $50 Runner-up

Gates open 8am
Time trials begin 9:30am
Eliminations 2pm

I think I might actually go this year. I'm testin-and-tunin' tomorrow at Island. If all goes well, I'll run it next weekend. Racing my car at an event like this is like bringing a knife to a gunfight, but it should be fun regardless.
