"BUICK" emblem question

I am wondering if a few people can post some numbers and or pics on this thread.

I have recently acquired a couple of "Buick" trunklid emblems. Both are new item and one even came in a GM bag but it's part number does not coincide with the correct part number.

I am trying to discover which one is accurate. One of the emblems is about
4" long and .5" tall and the otehr is about 6" long and 1" tall.

I'm sure this is an easy clarification but I do not have a reference other than the emblems...

My 87 T has 'Buick"

Lettering 4 11/16" long and 11/16" high. I believe its original. HTH.

Just went out to the garage..

I measured the "Buick" off the trunk of my wifes car before the repaint - it hasn't been reattached yet. It was original paint before removal and is exactly the same as mine. Someone else may want to verify for you, but I'd bet my friend's farm. :biggrin:

Here's the pics of a well worn original emblem that I e-mailed you. I figure other people could use this thread as a future reference.
