My loss is your gain. I have a 9.5" PTC converter that was never installed. The part number is ptc95-700-27-17-0-sl-sbp and I have been told this will work nicely with a 62 to 70mm depending on the RPM range. The best way to determine if this will work with your application is to call PTC directly and reference that part no.

You can read my signature and get a general idea of what I had.

Price is $825 without shipping and paypal fees.

That's a non lock 9.5". The best converter you could buy for one of these cars period.

Stall speed depends on engine torque, that is a 17 blade which works with many combos, great deal here

The stall at zero depends on the cam and tune. On 93 octane with a small hyd roller and 9:1 it will be around 3000. If you have more overlap and lower CR it will be less. Most will see 2800-3000. A 9:1 engine with a 212/212, 112ls and 60-1 is about 3100-3200 on a 93 octane tune with dex 3. With 116 octane you could get another 100rpm out of it if you redo your timing tables.

I don't know much about the numbering but isn't this for a 700R4 trans w/ a 27 spline input shaft?

I'm surprised that this is still for sale, I have the same one. Just did a 200 mile trip last weekend, did not notice any hit on the mpg. GLWS $1000 new.

I was in the middle of buying this converter when you all the sudden told me it was sold. Now it pops back up for sale and you don't even throw me a bone?

Whats up with that?

Rick

That is the same converter I used to run 9.7 @ 139.5 in a 3650 lb ths trim car with a 6768 with a .85 housing on a 234" motor. Awesome piece. I paid $950+ for mine.
