I made him an offer based on his sale price. I don't think it was a "low Ball" offer and I also don't think I was in any way trying to "beat down" the seller. He's asking $1100+ shipping and I offered him $1000k shipped also taking into consideration how long it's been for sale. That's only $100 off his asking price.
Also, I don't back down on offers I make and I was fully prepared to pay if the offer was accpeted. Unfortunately I don't think the seller took me seriously.
