Brake release dash repair with Plastex

Years ago I replaced my brake release handle when the cable broke. The dash plastic broke off where the handle sits when I pushed it in. I krazy glued the pieces back together but it broke again when reinstalling the brake release handle. Left it alone all these years with the brake release working but sitting loose. Sore spot every time I used it.

After fixing my dash speaker panel with JB weld I wanted to try something stronger. So did some research and wanted to try Plastex. Works great. Bonds stronger and fills in like it was part of original platic piece.

Here's pics of fix and brake release installed.
