Brake Problem

My interior brake light now stays on and my brakes feel like manual brakes. I just pulled my car out storage a couple of months ago and this just happened. I have no stopping power and I have to put so much pressure on the brakes to make them somewhat work. Can someone give me some hints on what it could be. I would like to get my ride back on the road.

Either the pump failed or the accumulator is shot. Make sure the fuse isnt blown first.

Might help to know if you have the powermaster brakes, or have they been converted over to a vacume setup. :biggrin:

I just find it easier to ASSume, saves me time on asking questions

Really stiff pedal usually means accumulator
