My car needs the power master but i am probably going to convert it over.I bought a new brake light switch and installed and i still have no brake lights could someone help me out here thanks....

I have to ask, did you make sure the bulbs are ok?
If yes, you'll need to do some investigating with a test light
to trace down your problem starting at the switch itself.

Look in the trunk on the left side behind the wheel well and
you'll find a wire harness with a big flat connector. Make sure
the connection is good on the tan wire, I had a problem there
once.

I know you replaced the switch but does it have 12 volts
available at the switch? No power in, means no power out
when you hit the brakes. You need to start checking for voltage
in the brake light circuit to find where the problem lies.
First place I would check for voltage is at the switch then go
from there. Might be a broken wire or a poor connection
somewhere down the circuit.
Do you have a 12 volt test light?

If the high mounted brake light works, your problem is not in the brake light switch.

Check the harmonica connecter at the base of the steering column. There is a white wire in that connecter that has a tight bend and sometimes comes loose. If it comes loose, you will not have brake lights. Reconnect the wire and that should fix you up.
