BOOST is good!...

I was having some fun with the car earlier this evening trying to tweak the MaxEffort-R some more and got a better idea of how much boost I can run on the street with my current combo (powerstroke IC & ported factory heads)...

This was with 94 Sunoco pump gas (no alky, no Xylene), and 20* timing. Outside temp was about 75*.

25psi boost in 3rd gear!
(scanmaster: 765 o2mv @ 99mph - NO knock)

Try plugging the scanmaster in.

Just kidding, that is amazing if the boost level is accurate, 25 psi w/heads is a lot of air.

Just to be safe, check your knock sensor to make sure it is working. Any EGT #s?

Knock sensor is functional. Didn't have EGT in the car at the time, but I'll plug it in sometime soon. I bet it was hot though... probably somewhere near 1650.
