Bls increase w/fan on?

Trying to get the car running right. All the scanmaster #s are in order. Bl's are 128 at idle (sometimes 126/127). However, when the fans kick on, it jumps to 138 and stays until the fans are off. This a repeatable pattern. Is this normal or an issue? I have an Extender Extreme chip.

Thanks

This is a really old issue I first saw with mustangs. The fan comes on and the air stream hits the air filter enough to disrupt the MAF readings. If you rotate the MAF 90 degrees, it may help, or make a little shield over the front of the filter.

you can set the fan into "race mode" with that chip which will make it run all the time after warm-up. So you wont have the fan turn-on stumble.
