BFG DR tire pressure

Got a pair of drag radials (255/50/16) that I only throw on when I go to the track. Tires read 44psi max pressure on sidewall.

Question is, is there a certain psi I should have them at so I can hook better?
Tuesday night my best 60ft was 2.0. I could not launch with more than 4-5 psi. Tried launching with 7-8 psi and roasted the tires through the 60ft, wound up with a 2.64 60ft. Had tire pressure at 32psi, and tried it at 25psi.

I was planning on trying to launch with ~10psi

I found that 18 psi worked good with my 275/60/15 BFG drags

Only ran some 235s a few times, see sig. 20 to 24 lb worked for me, but 10 would be too low and tire could spin on rim. Try this info:
