A friend is rebuilding their 86 turbo engine and wants to change pistons due to a .006 clearance. Which is the best to use? The car won't be raced just a cruiser.

Thanks

TRW seems to be the standard for most applications & reasonably available & priced. But if you want quality then go for J&E, Wisco, or C/P

Speed-Pro hyperutectics are cheap and 170 grams a piece lighter than stock pistons. They are also stronger than cast. You can make good power if you ever do decide to turn it up a bit!!
