Bench test

Is there a way to bench test the powermaster pump while still on the car? I'm not sure what the problem is, it was constantly blowing fuses but nothing now and rock hard peddle. Thx

confused ..if its still on the car its not a bench test
if it blew fuses the wiring is bad or the pump is bad ..if pump is bad its junk ..replace it or convert it

It still is on the car but I'm buying a used setup, I'd like to try to maybe cobble something together, if possible. I'm thinking it might be my pump, but I'm not sure. I'd like to some how test the other pump. Also, if I change just the pump what is the procedure? This system totally baffles me.

The GM service manual has a section on t/s.

Don't have access to the gm service manual. Thought I'd try to keep it original instead of going to vacuum brakes.

Swapping used brake parts is usually a "catch 22". I'm not a fan of the PM, so all my stuff is converted to hydraboost.
