Finally back in my garage and finally free of the stock 84 wheels!! I had to borrow a buddies truck, then borrow another buddies trailer, but she's home. Unfortunately my painter didn't get the bolt on body parts done in time but I needed the "car" back so I can finish up the mechanical stuff and I'll just assemble it when he gets it done in a week or two. I wasn't planning on putting the front end back together until I finish the engine bay mechanics anyways. It turned out really really well, I love this Dark Garnet Red (Code 76), it's like a chameleon depending on the sunlight.
What I have left to do, as best as memory serves me since it's been so long since I wrenched on it:
-Hook up the Hydroboost to the 87 steering pump.
-Install and plumb the 4th gen Camaro radiator.
-Finish the Alcohol Injection System
(where I left off when my life went to hell)
-Wire the additional gauges, scanmaster, etc..
-Fix my stripped alternator shaft
-Once over a million things I had to do for the complete, non hacked 87 conversion.
Here's some pics:
