The B.C. Oldsmobile Club cordially invites owners of Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Cadillac iron to bring their families out for a fun picnic to be held at the Campbell Valley Regional Park in South Langley on Sunday, July 4th.
The 8th Annual Picnic In The Park event is one of my favourites, as it is fairly well-attended by a Buick contingent and there are a number of fine-looking GMs to share the beautiful park grounds with. The Buick Grand National Racing Association(GNRA) will have a group of GN/Regal T-Types and other Turbo-Buick-powered cars on display. I would encourage you to bring your Buicks out to this show, and I wouldn't worry about whether your ride is still under restoration. We would still like to have you participate.
This a non-judged event and the entrance fee is $5 per vehicle to cover the cost of the park rental and insurance. It will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until 4:00 p.m.. To get to Campbell Valley Regional Park: travel south on 200th Street in Langley, and then head east on 8th Avenue. There will be signs within the park to direct you to the show area.
