Where are you guys putting auxillary water temp sending units? Also, it appears there are two stock sending units on our 87....which controls what? I know on some mustangs, one sensor is for the computer to control engine related tuning...the other controls the cooling fan.

Still learning and would like to have a real time water temp guage instead of an idiot light.

Thanks!

On the front of the intake facing the front of the car, is a sender that has a single green wire that sends a ground to activate the dummy light in the dash. You can use this for your water gauge temp sensor.

The one on the driver side of the intake facing upwards with 2 wires coming out of it, feeds to the ECM. Leave it there.

Right. Passenger side single green wire sender on intake, where I put my water temperature sending unit. Just to the left of the plenium intake, viewing from front..
