Are ET Street Radials "fragile" ?

Would the M /T ET Street Radials be considered too fragile for street use? Do they also have soft, floppy sidewalls ?

I know the mileage won't be great (unimportant), mainly concerned with hitting a bump or pothole that might damage or make the tire unsafe.

No, they have a stiff sidewall and would not be hurt from street driving. They take some serious abuse to launch cars into the 1.20 60 foot range.
