I've loved the Garands for a long time. I shot that weapon exclusively during my stint on the Navy rifle team. Firing a .308 at a 1,000 yard target is a challenge to say the least! The only gun I own now is a "virgin" never fired Winchester Model 94 Golden Spike Commemorative. Produced in 1969
