Do the column guards seem to work pretty well against theft??? Does anyone know about the kirban mystery anti theft device??? does it have to do with the ecm?? fuel??? The reason i ask is my girlfriend has a 78 malibu 2-door with 30,000miles that she just bought because her 89 caprice just got stolen off her school parking lot. I just wanted what the kirbans mystery kit did and if it would work on a non computer car(like a kill switch or something)

Some folks have had extremely good luck by keeping a trained Black Mamba under the driver's seat to greet intruders.

The Kirban Mystery Kit would work on non computer cars.
The hard part is finding one for sale because Kirban doesn't sell them anymore to the best of my knowledge.

Can't tell you how they work because then you would have to die Can't allow people to know how they work.

i have one of the kirban mystery theft devices brand new, never used, if you are interested. it lists for $26 in kirbans 2002 catalog, plus shipping. i'll take $20, shipping included(lower 48 states).
