Hey, whether the information in models (G-body) is used in aluminum core support or whether it was a special part?

Thank you for your responses in advance.

It is a regular production GM part, but it was not used in very many cars. The 78-80 buick regal, oldsmobile cutlass, and pontiac grand prix were the only models that used them, and in those cars only about 1 in every 10-20 cars got one. Meaning, IF you stumble upon one of those cars in a junkyard, there's about a 5-10% chance it had an aluminum core support to begin with, and even less of a chance that it's still there. On top of that, it's not an easy part to pull off of a car sitting in the weeds. That is why they bring so much money, "A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush" :)
