Alchy system sitting for 1 year never installed any problems with this?

OK, had all good intentions when I bought the SMC kit last year, September 03. Had a bunch of issues with driveability to solve before installing the kit. Well, now I am ready to install, but was wondering, since it has been sitting in the box for the last year, do the seals on the pump dry out from lack of use? Don't want to install it only to have it crap out due to bad seals. Anybody have and opinion on this?

i wouldnt worry about that if there was never any alky through the kit.

There have been several upgrades over the last 12 months in the SMC kit.

You may want to investigate updating yours before installing.

I would...............bench test it or sell it on a ricer website.
