air filter

i know this is a stupid question but i just bought a 1987 t type with 23 thousand miles and i dont know the location of the airfilter .Any help would be appreciated.

driver side front left of engine compt. Being new to the board, use the search function and do a lot of reading. Good Luck with your car.

To get to the airfilter, you need to take off the plastic Elbow to the MAF and remove the nut you expose. Removing the MAF makes this easier. The airbox will come apart into upper/lower halves.

thank youi found it ,it is actually at the bottom of the car which i will be changing for the top of the engine compartment.
