Advantages/disadvantages of going open loop fulltime?

I recently installed an Ext. Extreme G (G20X7BIG) along with a Gen II, 3.5" MAF, turbo, injectors and can't get the car to run right in closed loop. The chip will allow me to run open loop fulltime if set for it. Will there be any negative effects for a fair weather only streetcar? I run a test pipe with no cat. MLH

The Max Effort chip is open loop. Works great. Open loop uses defaults for WOT fuel. Meaning the car cannot adjust WOT fueling. The fuel curve is what it is. Not sure on any other adv/disadv.

At this point I'm just concerned with overall driveability, not so much WOT. It sounds like it may work OK.
