I have a daily driver 97 T-Bird , the lockout button on the shifter intermintly wont push in so i can get the car in gear , if wait and let the car warm up some times as long as 6 minutes, it will eventually push in and im on my way , the owners manual says if you have brake light out this is what occurs and it gives you sequence to go through without starting the car to get the button pushed in , that doesnt seem to work either ,i dont have a brake lightout, In the warmer months there is rarely a problem, the button pushes in and im on my way
