Hi John, Thanks for the complements. I met your boy Chris at the SSCN in Vegas last year, cool guy and haul'in ass car.
It would be too much work to put the stock suspension back in. I have some old photos but i'll post some current ones when I get off shift.

I met you guys, did you have a group of 3?
I was walking around with my wife and I was wearing a Duttweiler T Shirt!

That must have been my friends with the other V-8 turbo buicks from Hawaii, sorry I missed meeting you.

With the wheelie bars and parachute removed for street driving

In Il. she ran 8.60 @ 160 on a good track since then about 200# was removed from the car. In Hawaii on a unpreped track with potholes the most boost she could hold was 16 psi with a time of 9.4's at 143.

Just curious if that track was Byron in IL? Because this car looks REALLY familiar to one I saw there. And when that thing left the line    !!!! I actually thought I had it video taped somewhere. Either way, TTT for bad ash car!

Thanks! This is probably the GN you saw, Chris Hemmeter owner of Behind Bars Race Cars built this car for his street toy, put about 20 1/4 mile passes on her, then sold it to me to so he could build a drag Mustang.

That sucks I would have liked to talked to you and the other guys more.
I was like a kid in a candy shop and I was fighting sensory overload!!!
I also was very concerned about Chris and his car's performance.

Are you guys going to be at the SSCN again? What's Chris Chow doing with his car now?(if it's not a secret) ;) Last time we emailed he said he was going to work on making the car pretty again :)

I spoke to Chris for a moment this morning.
He is trying to get the car back together for the race.
The outlaw drag radial class seems to be calling his name.

Drag Radial class...Makes sense, those tube chassis cars are hard to compete against when you're still running stock style suspension plus that's my favorite class to watch. Wish him luck for me. Congratulations on your soon to be little racer. :)

Thanks for the well wishes, and bump for a nice car!
