I started researching the 3800 's when in general tech gn was posted using one of the front wheel drive short blocks with a mix of camaro parts a.k.a. L67. I found this car posted which would make an interesting swap to a gn I think. Similar to 109 dimension wise and while researching gm stats over 6 million of these engines were produced. Tranny installs and mixing parts complicate things, but there are still reasonably priced running long blocks available. I am just considering my options. Here is what this guy built

Thats a cool setup, but looking at the build sheet it looks like he stuck his piggybank in the engine! Why not just build a turbo 5.3-6.0LSX for cheap as hell! and make more power?
