60' time vs. trap speed?

Just a slight correction to info posted near the top (slightly off topic).

HP does not produce strong 60's. Torque does...

What goes into a good 60' is strong torque output, torque multiplication (gearing, converter multiplication, etc), a properly tuned suspension, and traction.

Torque is what makes an object move from a dead stop. Once the vehicle is moving down track, HP takes over and produces the MPH figure you see on your time slip.

When looking over your time slip, the MPH gives an indication of how much power you made (or lost with tuning changes), and your 60' tells how well the chassis/track prep/traction is working.
