500ci Caddy

Anyone ever have any experience with this motor. Im thinking of building one into a stroked 540ci twin turbo monster. Any input? As far as I know these things have the strongest blocks ever made in a production car and they only weigh about 40lbs more than a 350SBC becasue of all the nickel.

All I know is that when I was 16 my parents had a Red '76 Eldorado with the 500, that front drive monster would smoke those L-78X15s. She would also bury the needle on the 100mph speedo. Kind of wish I had a nice one of those today. I had fun with it, don't think my parents ever caught on.

There is a guy on the web that is building a twin turbo caddy motor.
If you can't find it I will see if my son-in-law has the link.
My son-in-law has a 500ci in his 75 caddy.
