I gave my shop 100 bones for a set of used 26 tall slicks, to replace my 25 tall ones. I see that many guys use the 28 talls. However, for a few extra bucks i can get the set of 28's. Is it worth it, or will it ruin my gear ? Im pretty much a stock runner.

My mph was only a 101.9 (13.21 et) with the 25's and a 1.86 60ft

Just wondering if anyone has run with a 26 tall and the results

hey microElvis, i run Hoosier 26x9.0x15's on my TurboT and the best time i've had is a 8.06@84mph with a 1.74 60"!!! but i'm not sure what that is in the 1/4 but if this helps you then i'm glad to be of service.

26" tires should work fine till you get traps around 115 mph then you may need 28" tires to keep the rpm down thru the traps

Thanks

Thanks guys, appreciate the responce.

Turbocody your 8.06 is around the 12.60 mark in the quarter. Im hoping to go from an 8.40 to an 8.20 or so. Theres been important changes since then, I feel its a realistic number.

:D
