200r4 rebuild in GA

Anyone know of a place in GA to get my trans rebuilt? It just started slipping, fluid is a little burnt. Is just gonna need the basic rebuild. Need it cheeeeeep.

You can get a stock 200R4 from the dealer for like, 1200 bucks comes with a 2 year warranty. I put one in my car and a shift kit and its been perfect. Even had some 1.6x sixty foots with this. If you do go somewhere do not I repeat do not go to a guy named Scott at Speedy transmission.

how much hp is a stock one good for? my motor is around 650 or so.

Not that much!, in your first post you said just a basic rebuild. In that case I'd go to South East turbo.

basic rebuild i meant, nothing was broke, no metal, just needs bands/clutches.

I don't know the number, but contack Rob at A & I automotive in Stone Mountain. He had a guy that does a basic rebuild in the $700 range I think.

Might be listed as A & I performance instead of automotive.
