I didn't make it this year but plan on going next year, but was wondering if it's still the massive event it was the last time I was there (1993) or if it's died out since. When I went back in the early 90's it was the greatest thing I ever seen. Every other car on the main drag was black, and half were racing. What was it like this year, what kind of attendence was there. Is it worth the 1,000 mile drive? If not, what is a great event to take vacation for with Grand Nationals?
