2 simple Questions--- I hope!

First One---

I went to fill up the limited today and when it clicked off I added 1 more gallon. At this time I here liquid spilling. I look under the car and fuel is coming out the front side of the gas tank. Not the actual tank but the front side. The felloa before me had Installed a walbro340 and hotwire kit. Do you think this could be coming from the Fuel Sender ring?


Second one-----

How do you set/cancel and bypass the factory alarm? Have one and just don't know!


Might be real simple but just needed some experts opinion.

I may have an answer for question #1.

After installing the Walbro pump in my car, it did the same thing...spewing gas.
As it turns out, the rubber "O" that goes between the sending unit and the tank is too big. The one supplied by Walbro that is. As compared to the stocker, it was slightly bigger. I just dropped the tank and put the stocker back in.

If the alarm is "set" you can only cancel it by using the key in the drivers door lock.

If not set you lock the doors manually with the plunger NOT with the door lock electric button as that will "set" the alarm.

Double check the hoses, hose clamps and hard lines around the tank while you're at it...
