Hey guys, I'm gauging interest on my 86 GN. Currently the motor is out, machine work is done but needs reassembly and install. Overall the car is in good condition with no underside rust. A few small bubbles in the paint here and there. The car was painted in 1999. Digital dash, stock radio (concert sound 2), 135k miles.

It was running and driving up until March this year when it developed a light rod knock after a 1/4 mile pass, I babied it home, pulled the motor, and it's been sitting since. It ran and shifted great prior, went 12.6 @ 109. Title in hand, asking $9k obo.

In January it got a new fuel pump and tires, I also have a Bluetooth scan tool that uses an android app to show and log engine data.

Might help with sale if you have specifics like what machine work, what pistons/rings/etc. What mods are on it such as converter stall/brand, what fuel pump you put in etc. GLWS

Engine is stock other than hooker down pipe, dual exhaust, and an unknown turbo upgrade done years back before I had the car. New fuel pump is a Walbro 294.

Machine work performed:
Cylinders checked and honed for rings (bores within spec)
Mains were checked and line honed
Cam bearings and galley plugs
Crank turned 10/10
Rods resized (pistons inspected and were OK'd for reuse)
Stock heads were cleaned, checked for cracks, and given a valve job.

I have new speed-pro rings in the box and a few new gaskets. Otherwise it's all stock stuff ready to go back together.

Do u still have?

ttt

I'm open to offers on the car. It'd be a good opportunity to build the motor back to your liking before putting it back in. I realize it's not an exact science but did plastigauge the machine shops work and the mains and rods all clearanced ~.0018.

RAR,
Check the envelope at the top right of your screen, should be a conversation started from me.

LOL I didn't see until now , better put my glasses on . Do you still have the car for sale ?
