Ok so I've had my car to the track a few times. Car 60 foots in the 1.6 to 1.7 almost everytime. 7.69 to 7.71 almost every run 1/8 mile at 89 mph.

But when the trans shifts from 1-2, I can't really feel it shift at all. It also seems to take forever for it to get into second. Car is still pulling but feels like its in law law land. Rpms are around mid to high 5000's all the way down the track at wot after it gets to the top of 1st.

At very, very light throttle the trans has a nice crisp shift from 1-2.

I did a pressure check but really have no idea what these numbers mean.

1000 rpm min tv Full tv @ 1500 rpm

P 85 P 270
R 150 R 270
N 85 N 270
OD 85 OD 240
D 85 D 240
2 160 2 240
1 160 1 240

Transmisson has h/p band, super servo, red plates, kolene steels, pts vb, pts pressure regulator system, pts pan, big B@M transcooler with a fan on it and a 20b 9/11 3000 stall from b.c automatic transmisson

Things to check?

Im thinking maybe its shifting into second but its just slipping like crazy and it just feels like its not shifting.

Or the convertor is really loose. Car will not move at idle speed 850 rpm.

Thoughts? Questions? My car build up is in my sig.

Plus I am no trans expert at all.

Thanks

Ok so I reset the tv cable. Moved it back toward the firewall. That seemed to help. Still slips just not as bad.

The way I set the tv cable was i pushed it all the way back toward the firewall then pushed the gas petal to the floor and it ratched forward.

It is dropping pressure when it shifts 1-2 40lb or so. 2-3 40lbs or so. Goes from around 230ish to 180, 190ish when it shifts.

Is the drop in pressure normal or should the pressure stay steady as a rock on shifts?
